AMY + BRIAN | MOUNT HOOD WEDDING
Amy and Brian spoke my photography love language. The minute I heard about this intimate mountain side wedding I knew I was going to have a blast. And I sure did.
Amy + Brian got married at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood in Oregon on October 16 surrounded by family. It was sweet and romantic, and so relaxed. That was my favorite part about it. The bride and groom got to enjoy the day with each other without stresses.
The day began with hair and make up and Amy's childhood home. We then drove up to Timberline and Amy + Brian had a delicious brunch with family to begin the festivities. The wedding ceremony was nestled in front of the fire place with the mountain behind. It was a beautiful ceremony that reflected the importance of family, love, and Jesus.
Brian, Amy and I took photos on the mountainside and I was inspired by every spot. It was absolutely breathtaking.
And to top it all off , there was a beautiful reception with all of Brian and Amy's friends later in the day and the quirky event space Sincerely Truman in downtown Portland.
I am so thankful that Brian and Amy allowed me to photograph their wedding day. I always feel so honored when people choose me. It truly is such a privilege, one that I won't ever take for granted. It's pretty darn awesome when God blesses you with clients that allow me to create things that I am proud of.
